V3 Electric
Created V3 University, a Moodle LMS connected to Salesforce, to organize onboarding content, track progress, and give managers real-time training visibility.
About the client
V3 Electric is a California clean energy solutions provider. The company offers solar energy systems that help customers reduce energy costs and use energy with more freedom and control. V3 has helped deliver more than $1 million in customer savings and generated 35,000 KWH.
Challenge
V3 Electric’s new hire training process was difficult to manage. Employees received emailed links that sent them to a series of training videos. The process was rigid, time-consuming, and hard to track. Managers had limited visibility into each employee’s progress, which made it harder to confirm that new hires completed the right training.
Solution
V3 Electric partnered with XCentium to build a more structured training experience through a Learning Management System. The new platform gave employees a central place to access training materials, watch videos in the right order, and follow a defined learning path.
XCentium organized V3’s existing training content into modules within Moodle. This turned a loose collection of links and videos into a more guided onboarding experience for new employees.
XCentium also built custom connectors between Moodle and Salesforce. These connectors enabled real-time reporting and gave managers and HR better visibility into each employee’s learning path, progress, completed modules, and remaining training.
Outcomes
V3 Electric launched V3 University, a modern training platform designed to support employee growth and new hire success. The LMS tracks completed and remaining training modules for each employee, helping reduce the risk of missed training.
The Salesforce integration also improved reporting for managers and HR. Training progress data is now recorded in Salesforce, making it easier to monitor onboarding and support new hires through a clearer, more organized learning path.
