I recently helped our digital marketing team to update the content for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and align it with SitecoreAI’s full capabilities. By using SitecoreAI Agentic Studio, we cut down the effort, accelerated productivity, and, most importantly, gave our team the confidence to use AI agents effectively in their day-to-day tasks.
The task was straightforward: refreshing our website content to reflect migration to SitecoreAI. Rather than approaching it as a purely manual rewrite, we decided to experiment with SitecoreAI Agentic Studio. Our goal was not to replace humans with automation, but to augment our team’s capabilities. This approach allowed marketers to work faster while keeping full control over messaging, tone, and brand voice.
SitecoreAI Agentic Studio allowed us to design an AI agent that could follow the same steps a marketer would take. It reviewed existing content, identified outdated references to Sitecore XM Cloud, evaluated SEO and AEO readiness, and generated recommendations by using SitecoreAI’s capabilities.
How the AEO and Content Refresh Worked
We started by reviewing the out-of-the-box agents available in SitecoreAI Agentic Studio and selected those that aligned best with our goals:
- Content Generator to help draft and refine blog content
- AEO Researcher to recommend AEO-focused optimizations
- Audience Summary to validate our target audience and gather high-level feedback
- Summarizer to ensure the refreshed content could be clearly and accurately summarized
In addition to these agents, we built a custom agent designed to write content specifically in the context of our organization. This agent incorporated brand knowledge, tone guidelines, and positioning requirements. A portion of this blog was written using that custom agent.
We also built another custom agent that accepts a PDF as input, analyzes the content, recommends changes based on a defined prompt, and generates output in a structured schema of our choice.
From Analysis to Actionable Recommendations
The agent analyzed a page and converted its content into a structured format. This made it easier to evaluate headlines, metadata, body copy, CTAs, and FAQs independently.
Next, it reviewed the messaging through an AEO and SEO lens. The agent assessed clarity, topical focus, and whether the content answered real customer questions in a way that AI assistants could confidently reference.
It then generated a refreshed version of the page, including updated headlines, improved meta descriptions, rewritten sections aligned with SitecoreAI, and new FAQ content designed to reinforce authority and expertise.
Finally, the agent produced a summary of recommended changes so the marketing team could quickly understand what was updated and why.

Using the Agent to Extend Content into Social Channels
We also used the Content Generator agent to create a LinkedIn post announcing the refreshed page and migration to SitecoreAI:

What Changed After the Refresh
The most noticeable improvement was clarity. The refreshed pages clearly positioned us as experts in SitecoreAI, not just implementers of a CMS. Messaging shifted from features to outcomes, highlighting how AI drives personalization, optimization, and measurable business value.
We also saw stronger content structure. Headings became more purposeful, CTAs were clearer and better aligned to buyer intent, and FAQs directly addressed questions prospects are likely to ask through both search engines and AI-powered tools.
The team gained confidence in the process. Instead of starting from a blank page, marketers had intelligent recommendations that accelerated review cycles and improved consistency across pages.
Key Takeaways for Marketers
This experience reinforced several important lessons.
Modern content must be written for both people and machines. AEO is not a replacement for SEO, but an evolution of it. Structured, clear, and authoritative content performs better across all discovery channels.
AI agents work best when they support marketers rather than replace them. SitecoreAI Agentic Studio helped us scale expertise, not creativity.
Finally, content refreshes do not have to feel overwhelming. With the right agent-driven workflow, teams can modernize messaging continuously and stay aligned with evolving platforms like SitecoreAI.
We are extending this approach beyond a single content refresh. The same agent framework can support ongoing optimization, competitive analysis, and campaign-specific messaging updates.
For marketing teams navigating rapid change, SitecoreAI Agentic Studio provides a practical way to turn complexity into momentum and ensure content remains relevant, discoverable, and credible in an AI-driven world.
