Challenge
West Monroe was in the middle of a larger rebrand and needed a more flexible digital platform. Its existing content management system required heavy developer support for updates. That slowed content changes, increased effort, and made it harder to move quickly. West Monroe wanted a modern content management system that could improve performance, reduce content creation effort, and support faster time to market.
Solution
XCentium migrated West Monroe from Sitecore to Contentstack and restructured the site around new data models and content taxonomies. The team migrated more than 2,000 content items and aligned them with the new platform.
XCentium also moved site hosting to Contentstack Launch. More efficient code and the Launch integration helped improve performance and support a faster, more scalable site experience.
To strengthen the digital ecosystem, XCentium integrated Algolia for fast and accurate site search. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics were configured to support performance tracking and user behavior insights. OneTrust was added to manage consent and privacy preferences for global regulations, including GDPR and CCPA.
Outcomes
West Monroe now has a more flexible and high-performing content management system that supports faster content updates and reduces developer dependency. The new platform helps the team move faster while supporting a stronger digital experience for users.
The project moved from design approval to launch in 10 weeks. Site performance improved significantly, with Google Lighthouse scores improving by more than 45 points to 98. Accessibility and SEO scores also improved, and page build time decreased by 66.6%.
