• Platform Transition: Tektronix had been using Drupal globally for over a decade, but sought an optimized solution with Sitecore Commerce to better serve the Chinese market.
• Mooncake Hosting: Hosted on Mooncake, the China-based Azure platform, the solution was specifically designed to address China’s regulatory and infrastructure requirements.
• Smart Architecture: The implementation involved a blend of Sitecore, Azure, and other advanced technologies to ensure optimal performance and scalability while overcoming barriers posed by the Great Firewall.

• Global Business Expansion: As a Fortive subsidiary, Tektronix generates more than half of its revenue in China, with approximately 4,000 global employees. The new solution needed to meet stringent local laws and ensure compliance with ICP (Internet Content Provider) requirements in China and GDPR regulations in Europe.
• Regional Website Hosting: The Sitecore solution was architected to meet these regulatory needs, enabling Tektronix to efficiently host and manage regional websites while adhering to local compliance standards.
