Open Positions
XCentium is looking for a client-focused Senior Salesforce Consultant with 3–5 years of Salesforce experience who can work directly with clients to understand and document their business processes, translate requirements into practical Salesforce solutions and user stories, and independently drive work from discovery through implementation.
The ideal candidate combines consulting and communication skills, Salesforce platform knowledge, and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced client environments. You should be proactive, technically curious, comfortable taking ownership, and motivated to expand your Salesforce knowledge continually.
Key Responsibilities
• Work directly with clients to understand their business processes, challenges, priorities, and desired outcomes.
• Build strong client relationships and approach requirements from the client's perspective rather than focusing only on the immediate technical request.
• Lead or participate in discovery sessions, gather requirements, identify gaps, and translate business needs into Salesforce solutions.
• Recommend practical solutions using Salesforce capabilities, configuration, automation, and custom development where appropriate.
• Independently configure Salesforce functionality including objects, fields, permissions, flows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and related platform capabilities.
• Partner effectively with Salesforce developers and architects when requirements require Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, or more complex technical solutions.
• Have working familiarity with Apex, LWC, APIs, and the broader Salesforce development model to understand technical approaches, communicate requirements, and participate meaningfully in solution design.
• Clearly communicate solution approaches, risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, and project status to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Take ownership of assigned work and proactively identify issues, questions, dependencies, and next steps rather than waiting for direction.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and perform effectively in fast-paced or high-pressure client environments.
• Navigate challenging or demanding client situations professionally while maintaining strong working relationships.
• Continuously learn new Salesforce products, capabilities, and technologies and actively look for opportunities to expand technical and consulting skills.
Qualifications
• 3–5 years of Salesforce consulting, implementation, or similar hands-on experience.
• Strong Salesforce platform knowledge, at minimum equivalent to an experienced Salesforce Administrator.
• Hands-on experience configuring Salesforce solutions independently.
• Previous consulting or client-facing implementation experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong requirements gathering, problem-solving, and solution design skills.
• Ability to understand both business processes and the technical implications of proposed solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate autonomously.
• Demonstrated self-motivation and a proactive approach to solving problems.
• Strong interest in continuous learning, with evidence of regularly developing new Salesforce or technical skills.
• Comfortable working with difficult, demanding, or rapidly changing client environments.
• Salesforce Admin certification
Preferred Qualifications
• Salesforce certifications such as Business Analyst, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or similar.
• Experience working across multiple Salesforce clouds or products.
• Experience supporting projects through discovery, design, build, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.
• Experience working in a consulting environment with multiple simultaneous clients or projects.
Location
• Los Angeles metro area preferred
• Candidates elsewhere in California or on the U.S. West Coast may also be considered
