Regal Rexnord is a global manufacturer of electric motors and power transmission components. Its products support mission-critical applications across indoor air quality, industrial production, and warehouse conveying systems.

Challenge

Regal Rexnord’s eCommerce platform needed a better way to support search across a large and complex product catalog. The existing search experience made it difficult for customers to navigate more than 750,000 products and 550 million pricing records. Regal Rexnord also needed more relevant, personalized results to help streamline the purchasing journey.

Solution

Regal Rexnord partnered with XCentium to integrate Coveo into its eCommerce platform. The goal was to replace the existing search engine with a more advanced search experience that could support the scale and complexity of the catalog.

XCentium used the Coveo for Sitecore Module to connect content handling with Coveo search. Coveo Stream for Commerce Data was used to manage commerce-related data, while .NET Core supported the loading of commerce data into Coveo for seamless updates.

For the front end, XCentium used the Coveo Atomic Library with vanilla JavaScript. This approach supported efficient development and gave Regal Rexnord more flexibility through a headless architecture.

Outcomes

The new Coveo search experience helped Regal Rexnord deliver more tailored and efficient product discovery across its eCommerce platform. Customers can receive more relevant product results, while Regal Rexnord can better manage search across a large catalog and high-volume pricing data.

Coveo analytics also gave Regal Rexnord insight into user behavior, search patterns, and content performance. These insights can help the team continue optimizing the digital experience over time.
