XCentium releases XBlog

XCentium, an award winning digital consultancy, today announced a new release of XBlog v 1.1. XBlog 1.1 supports both Sitecore 8.0 and Sitecore 8.1. It also has performance updates and code clean up. Most notable would be the query calls to more complex modules like tag cloud and author list with post counts. With Sitecore 8 support, modifications were made around changes to SPEAK, a framework Sitecore uses to support its administration UI. Along with the release of version 1.1 XCentium also now offers XBlog source code via GitHub (https://github.com/XCentium/XBlog).

XBlog has been developed by Zac Malmquist and Matt Kloss. Both are Architects at XCentium with nearly a decade of experience each developing solutions for Sitecore.
“We now have a strong base for this blogging tool. I look forward to future updates that will tackle more complex issues. Knowing how passionate the Sitecore community is, I am also excited to share source with them and see what grows from that.” said Zac Malmquist.
