A global seafood company launched a boutique pet nutrition brand as part of its expansion into consumer packaged goods. The organization operates internationally with a large supply chain and a strong reputation in food production, now extending into premium pet health offerings.
 

Challenge

The client had no existing website or digital foundation. They needed to launch quickly with a credible, consumer-facing brand experience. A non-technical team also needed to manage content independently after launch. SEO had to be built in from the start to support discoverability and growth.
 

Solution

XCentium designed and developed a microsite using Contentful, a headless CMS, and Next.js for the front end. This approach enabled fast delivery and gave the team flexibility to scale the site over time. The experience focused on product and brand content, with purchases routed through retail partners.
 
Content was modeled to balance structured data with flexible page creation. This allowed the team to manage content easily while maintaining consistency. Schema markup for Product, Organization, and FAQ page was implemented at launch to support search visibility and AI-driven discovery.
 
Brandfolder was integrated as the digital asset management platform using an out-of-the-box connector. This gave the client a centralized way to manage assets. Google Tag Manager and cookie consent tooling were also implemented as part of the build. The project followed a structured delivery approach with defined components and a clear deployment pipeline. 

Outcomes

The site was designed and built in 11 weeks, enabling a fast path to launch. The client gained full ownership of the platform, supporting ongoing content growth and scalability.
